While we love making cool gear to make getting outdoors as easy as possible, we also enjoy giving it away. Just a few months ago we ran a contest for a Yakima Skybox 12S. Bob Baldwin, the winner of the Skybox S12, couldn’t believe that he won this sweet piece of outdoor equipment. In fact, he said he had never won anything in his life! He even shared what he plans on doing with his brand new Skybox next summer:
“The Skybox 12S will come in handy for our next trip to Lake Elmore, VT. We go there every summer and usually haul a couple of kayaks and gear so the Skybox will allow us more storage to put the paddles, life vests and packs up top. We have a Subaru
Forester so space is limited. I can imagine other trips in the near future now that we’ll have more storage for packs, hiking poles, boots, and skis – the beach: Ocracoke Island; skiing: Whitetail, PA; hiking: Blue Ridge Mountains; canoeing: South Branch Potomac and Cacapon Rivers.” -Bob
