76% of our customers are so happy, they tell their friends about us.
That's not a marketing claim — it's the promoter share behind our Net Promoter Score, a loyalty metric companies use to measure customer devotion. Unlike school grades, NPS runs from -100 to 100, and most companies never break 30. SylvanSport's NPS of 64 lands firmly in 'excellent' territory. Here's what it means, and what real SylvanSport owners actually say.

What is NPS, really?
After every purchase and support interaction, we ask one question: "How likely are you to recommend SylvanSport to a friend?" Answers of 9–10 are Promoters. 7–8 are Passives. 0–6 are Detractors.
(Rounded to whole percentages elsewhere on this page — 76% promoters, 13% detractors — which is why quick mental math can land on 63 instead of 64. The score itself is calculated from the unrounded figures.)
That's the whole formula: % Promoters minus % Detractors. Passives don't count either way — they're the neutral middle. No score is 100. A score above 0 is good. Above 50 is considered exceptional. Above 70 is "world-class," a tier only about 3% of companies ever reach. SylvanSport sits at 64, firmly in 'excellent' territory, and just a few points shy of the rare 'world-class' tier.
What Kind of Camper Brand Is SylvanSport?
SylvanSport has designed and built camping trailers in Brevard, North Carolina, since 2004. We're best known for the GO, a lightweight pop-up camper trailer that tows behind almost any vehicle and sets up in minutes; the GOAT, our all-terrain overland camper; the GO EASY, a kayak and utility trailer; and our VIRE and VAST travel trailers. Every unit is designed, engineered, and built in-house at our Brevard factory — not outsourced, not white-labeled.
What Owners Say, By the Way They Use It
Hundreds of survey and review comments, sorted by how our owners actually live outside.
Camping
This is a far, far better way of camping than setting up a tent. We love that we can camp in either tent sites or RV sites. We love that we're out of the weather. We love that we can pull it with our smaller SUV (a Honda CR-V).
Kayaking & Watersports
This trailer allows us to continue kayaking into our 70s and beyond. No more hoisting heavy kayaks up onto the roof of our car.
Hauling & Utility
Tows like a dream. Sets up and takes down pretty easy. Nice set up for either as two twin beds or superking to cuddle. We also used it as a trailer to help one of our kids move and appreciated the low deck height.
Solo Travel
I can open the tent, set it up within minutes, and close it by myself without any assistance from anyone else. It's so comfortable, and I feel so safe.
Aging Outdoors
We are in our mid-sixties and find it easy to set up, very comfortable, and very dry in heavy rains.
