From horses to bikes, we move on to our 2nd finalist in the Coolest. Camper. Ever. Contest, Greg Heil. You met Greg last week on our blog…student, social media coordinator, and most importantly, avid mountain biker. At SylvanSport, we love moving on 2 wheels, and Greg’s entry made us crave a biking road trip. Here’s what he had to say:
“My ideal GO adventure involves mountain biking… a lot of mountain biking! Next summer, my wife and I are planning on hitting the road and traveling the Rocky Mountains for several months. We plan on spending a significant amount of time in the Northwest. Specifically, we want to visit Bend, Oregon, Bellingham, Washington, Sun Valley, Idaho, Kalispell, Montana, and everywhere in between. Since we have so many friends in Colorado, we’ll probably spend a couple of weeks down there as well.
Part of the impetus for our trip next summer will be for my job, and the other motivating drive will be looking for a place to move. See, I will be graduating college in May 2013, and having spent a year and a half living in northwest Montana, we are itching to move back to the Rockies! Over the course of our road trip we will be looking for the perfect town, a place that we can see ourselves living (and riding) in long-term. Who knows: we might fall in love with a place and just never leave! Having a GO camper to live in for those months would make the entire journey so much more enjoyable!”
